Luggiano wines
Geniale, Viognier, Ideale and Tenace are the wines I am producing in my farm Luggiano, in Vinci, Tuscany.
I am convinced that good wines shall have three necessary ingredients: the ground, which defines the territoriality and thus the character of wine; the climate, that controls the annual quality, healthy quality grapes, produced by healthy plants together with an accurate work in the cellar (professional but not intrusive), in order to enhance the characteristics of the wine without changing its nature.
Geniale was born from a blend of 85% Petit Verdot grapes and 15% of Gamay grapes, two very different varieties that come together in this wine and fully complement each other as in a beautiful love story. Viognier is my favorite, for its unique taste and its intense aromas. Ideale is the Chianti DOCG, which comes from Luggiano historic vineyards, according to the ancient recipe of Chianti, which involves the use of even a small percentage of white grapes. Tenace is the Chianti Riserva DOCG, conceived for ageing process. It comes from Sangiovese Grosso grapes, the same used for the production of Brunello di Montalcino.
